Abstract

Surface modified ZnS nanoparticles were prepared in this work. Infrared spectroscopy (IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to investigate the structure, size, and morphology of the modified ZnS nanoparticles. It was found that the average diameter of the coated ZnS nanoparticles was about 4 nm, and the dispersion capacity and oxidative stability could be improved effectively by surface modification with DDP.
