Design and implementation of algorithm-level testbed for multi-sensor information fusion

Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of a MSIFT from three layers including algorithm components layer, module combination layer and system integration layer. Firstly, algorithm components are established independently by using the Object-Oriented (OO) software design. Secondly, three subsystems are formed in the module combination by using plug-and-play architecture. Thirdly, the whole MSIFT is integrated based on High Level Architecture (HLA). Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed MSIFT.
