abstract = "With the rapid development of emerging engineering education, virtual simulation has become a major direction in experimental teaching. However, virtual simulation experiment teaching is clearly different from traditional experimental teaching. Virtual simulation breaks free from the constraints of reproducing theoretical teaching in traditional experiments and becomes a completely new teaching method. For this reason, this paper proposes an analysis framework for students' generative learning and a multimodal data fusion analysis model for virtual simulation experiment teaching. It also presents a design framework for experiment teaching virtual simulation projects that facilitate generative learning. By analyzing the process of virtual learning of simulation experiment of current students from a generative learning perspective, novel strategies for designing virtual simulation experiment teaching are developed, effectively promoting the development of virtual simulation experimental teaching in higher education.",
