Turbo Equalization Scheme for Polar-AFDM System

摘要

In the next generation of mobile communication, robustness in high mobility scenarios is an important indicator. Affine Frequency Division Multiplexing (AFDM) is a potential powerful candidate waveform due to its high tolerance for DelayDoppler channels. In this letter, we studied the Polar encoded AFDM system and designed a Turbo equalizer based on Linear Minimum Mean Squared Error (LMMSE) Equalization and Belief Propagation (BP) decoding algorithm to improve the error performance of this system. Information can effectively counteract interference in Delay-Doppler channels after Turbo Equalization. Simulation has been implemented and shows its advantages over OFDM and OCDM systems in high-mobility scenarios.
