摘要
The clamp is an important part of the heavy-duty forging manipulator, whose mechanical properties and fatigue performance have much impact on the normal operation of the manipulator. In this paper, the mechanical properties of the clamp arm structure of the heavy forging manipulator under typical load cases are studied. The topology optimization of the clamp arm under multiple load cases are performed to obtain the optimal material distribution and force transmission path, based on which the size optimization is carried out. The results show that the material usage of the optimized clamp arm structure can be reduced while maintaining the good mechanical properties.
