The phase-field model study with the elastic energy for the effect on the precipitation in Ni75Cr16.4Al8.6 alloy

摘要

Using the microscopic phase filed method with the different types of the elastic energy, the precipitation process of Ni75Cr16.4Al8.6 was simulated. Results show that under the condition without the elastic energy, the nuclei mechanism of the θ phase belongs to congruent ordering and spinodal decomposition mechanism,which forms the phase shape with the random morphology. But as the steady elastic energy added into this system, the nuclei mechanism of θ phase tends to the non-classical nucleation, whose growth direction changes from [101] direction to the " soft "direction [100] gradually. For the gradual addition of the elastic energy, there is analogy between the early precipitation mechanism and the situation without the elastic energy, and the microstructure evolution approaches to the state with the steady elastic energy.
