摘要

Aim. To our knowledge, poor hydrophibicity limits the quality of micro-contact stamping. So, in our opinion, we need to improve it. Subsection 1.1 of the full paper designs the experiments. Subsection 1.2 presents the experimental method. Fig. 2, the core of subsection 1.2, shows the block diagram of the flow chart of preparing PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) stamps. Subsection 1.2 explains essentially two things: (1) the preparation of two kinds of stamps (oxidate-treated and non-treated); (2) all stamps were coated with an aqueous Col-I protein solution and then placed in direct contact with glass substrates. Subsection 2.2 explains: (1) the comparison of the hydrophibic effects of two kinds of stamp; (2) that the oxidate-treated PDMS stamp does improve hydrophibicity, thus significantly raising the quality of protein pattern.
