摘要
The objective is to investigate the heat generation characteristics of counter-rotating cylindrical roller bearing. The interactions among various bearing components and bearing heating were analyzed based on quasi-dynamic analysis method. Furthermore, the calculation model of heat generation in counter-rotating cylindrical roller bearing was developed. The model considered the slipping of cage and rollers, as well as the churning loss and whirl loss of rollers and cage. The calculation model was verified by experimental data, and the main factors affecting counter-rotating bearing heating were also studied. The calculation results of model are in good agreement with experimental data and the error is less than 5.5%. The heat quantity generated in counter-rotating bearing increases with increased speed of inner and outer ring, and decreases with increased lubricant inlet temperature, whereas it seems independent of radial load.
