title = "Polarized color mixing skylight parameters enhancement",
abstract = "Outdoor scenes are usually affected by the atmosphere phenomena (i.e.: Haze). The light scattering phenomena cause the skylight polarization and the colors of the sky. The atmosphere particles are much larger in cloudy and hazy conditions, leading to distort the polarization information in a much larger way. The distorted pattern has a very low or no information of neutral points of the sky, this causes a distorted pattern of the angle of polarization. This paper investigates the problems in acquiring polarization information under different atmospheric conditions and minimizes the effect of atmosphere particles in skylight polarization parameters. This paper proposed a new comprehensive method based on skylight color mixing to obtain accurate skylight polarization parameters, also determine the strong dependency of polarization on the wavelength of light. The experimental results show that by comparing the proposed method with the conventional methods, the proposed method improves the polarization patterns that used in obtaining accurate skylight polarization parameters by eliminating the effect of noise in cloudy and hazy days.",
