Numerical simulation on IGV/rotor interaction in an axial-flow compressor stage

摘要

A corresponding three-dimensional steady viscous code is developed for simulating the flowfield inside the axial-flow compressor stage. And it considers circumferential and radial non-uniform distribution using the method of under relaxation in mixing plane. An example of IGV/rotor interaction in an axial-flow compressor stage is used to verify the developed method and compared with the results calculated by a commercial CFD solver. Total pressure ratio at mixing plane is nearly constant in the calculation of program but an extent of decline in the commercial CFD solver because of the artificial loss. Results of 3-D simulation also indicate that negative incidence angle for rotor occurs during the design stage, so a little flow separation occurs on pressure surface of the rotor.
