Non-probabilistic reliability optimization of structures based on interval model

摘要

The problem of non-probabilistic reliability-based optimization of structures with uncertain parameters described by interval variables is investigated. The geometric interpretation and solution methods of the non-probabilistic reliability index proposed by Elishakoff are presented. The non-probabilistic reliability-based optimization model of structures is established, in which the structural weight is taken as the objection function, and the non-probabilistic reliability index is taken as the constraint condition. Two numerical examples show that the proposed method can take the influence of uncertain information into account and may distribute the structural weight rationally.
