Microstructure and dielectric properties of Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 / ZnNb2O6 composite ceramics

摘要

Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 / ZnNb2O6 (BSTZ) composite ceramics were fabricated by the conventional ceramic processing. The effects of the content of ZnNb2O6 on the microstructures and dielectric properties of BSTZ ceramics were investigated. The results showed that BSTZ composite ceramics can be sintered at a lower temperature. BaNb3.6O10 phase is observed in the ceramics besides perovskite phase Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 and ZnNb2O6 phase. The dielectric constant and the dielectric loss decreased with the increase of ZnNb2O6 content. When the content of ZnNb2O6 is 0.6(molar ratio), the dielectric constant of composite ceramics is 74, and the dielectric loss is 0.043 at microwave frequencies. The dielectric tunability of 10.54% at 1.0 kV/mm DC bias could be obtained.
