摘要

The heat transfer on the trailing edge plays a very important role in cooling the turbine blade of an aircraft engine. The goal of the present study is to examine the heat transfer of four wedge-shaped channels, which are simplified models of the trailing edge, undergoing rotation with different combinations of pin fins, ribs, and Kagome lattices for Re = 15,000. The numerical simulations are compared with available experimental and numerical data available in the literature. Results show that the proposed structures in the rotating state have less of an impact on heat transfer enhancement than they do for the static configuration. The additional forces generated by rotation strongly disturb the fluid and promote mixing, which results in different heat transfer and flow phenomenon compared to the static wedge-shaped channel.
