Exploiting High-Isolation 2nd-Harmonic Backscatters for Distance-Adaptive Microwave Power Delivery

摘要

Microwave power delivery always suffers unknown distances between transmitting (TX) and receiving (TX) antennas. To smooth away such problem, 2nd harmonics generated from a rectifier approaching its voltage compression output (breakdown) are exploited. Meanwhile, with an integration of a modified ring coupler and a dual-linearly-polarized antenna, the fundamental incidences and 2nd harmonics can be highly isolated by different channels. Theoretical analysis as well as some experiment results has validated this proposed novel technique for distance-adaptive microwave power delivery.
