Entropy based model for the creep behavior of reactive powder concrete at high temperature

摘要

Creep of concrete has certain impact on its mechanical properties and can seriously affect the structural safety. At high-temperature or under fire attack, the basic creep strain develops rapidly in a few hours in concrete and cannot be ignored. In the current study, a new entropy based basic creep model for concrete at high-temperature is proposed based on the thermodynamic principle and entropy increasing theory. The relationship between entropy increase rate and time is developed. The influence of key engineering parameters for basic creep of concrete at different temperatures is investigated. Predictions of the developed model are compared with the experimental data and show good accuracy.
