Energy-simplified doppler-aided channel estimation in satellite communication

摘要

High speed forms of transportation as airplane, maglev, and low-earth-orbit satellite, arising great demand of high dynamic communication, which reveals the insufficiency of channel estimation without reliable doppler compensation. This paper proposes to use energy sorting to eliminate small component in time domain channel estimation, and adopt doppler shift to further revised the channel parameter estimation. Simulation results show that for large doppler shift, incorporating both energy simplify and doppler assistant, accuracy of the channel parameter can be improved, and also the BER can be effectively reduced.
