Coupling optimization design for aspirated compressor airfoil with low Reynolds number in high altitude

摘要

Aim at researching the aerodynamic design characteristics of the aspirated airfoil with low Reynolds number in high altitude, artificial bee colony algorithm(ABC) was used to optimize the aspirated airfoil in the condition of low Reynolds number, and this design method coupled the airfoil and aspirated scheme in the process of optimization design. And the necessity of the coupling optimized design was demonstrated.Research results show that: the performance of the aspirated airfoil designed in the condition of the ground would decrease significantly in the condition of low Reynolds number, and the coupling optimized design in the condition of low Reynolds number is necessary.The coupling optimized design can reduce the total pressure loss by 32%, and increase the static pressure ratio by 0.01 in the condition of low Reynolds number.And the performance of the aspirated airfoil could also be promoted in the condition of the ground.The design is optimum by improving the load in the forepart of the aspirated airfoil appropriately, and controlling the laminar bubble by aspiration.And the optimal aspirated location is in the center of the laminar bubble.
