N2 - Conjugated polymers with large two-photon absorption cross sections have potential applications in data storage, phototherapy, 3D imaging, and micro-fabrication. Substantial efforts have been recently made to develop materials with large two-photon absorption cross sections. In this communication, we have summarized some classes of conjugated polymers with two-photon absorption cross section, including the molecules with conjugated bridge of fluorene, benzene, thiophene and anthracene, and the molecules incorporating triphenylamine. These materials have been demonstrated acting as fluorescent probes in the application of two-photon fluorescence bioimaging.
