Cognitive-engineering-based study on key technology of UCAV system

摘要

The issues in dealing with the human/system interface (HSI) for uninhabited combat air vehicle (UCAV) system are complex, varied and difficult to solve, so that no mature theory has been found presently. The purpose of our study is to employ the cognitive engineering methodology to analyze and tackle the relative problems, such as multi-agent dynamic function allocation (DFA), workload matching and situation awareness (SA), etc. We brought forward a concept model of the multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) of the ground control system (GCS), and built an integrated framework model of cognitive engineering to meet the requirements of the UCAV system for the suppression of enemy air defense (SEAD) mission. It is shown that the cognitive-engineering-based technique can be helpful for matching relations of complicated factors in design process of the UCAV system.
