摘要

Carbon/carbon composites are considered to be one of the most promising biomedical materials for orthopedic and dental surgery because of their excellent mechanical properties. In order to make them bioactive, calcium phosphate coating was applied on the surface of C/C by a novel process of electrodeposition with adding to ultrasonic wave, named sonoelectrodeposition. It was shown that homogenous, densified and improved adhesive coating was obtained in different carbon materials and the H2 bubbles evolving from C/C cathode needn't be precisely controlled. In addition, this process could provide a new choice for depositing bioactive calcium phosphate coating on the biocompatible conductive substrate with excellent mechanical properties.
