A novel robust event-triggered MPC with state feedback for aero-engines

摘要

This paper studies a robust event-triggered model predictive control (ET-MPC) with state feedback for an aero-engine full authority digital engine control (FADEC) system subject to unknown bounded disturbances. In the presented robust event-triggered MPC, the event-triggered mechanism is first set by the deviation between the optimal state and actual state. In addition, the Lyapunov-based stability condition is employed in the constraints for simplifying parameters and enhancing the universality. Subsequently, a feasible control law is predesigned by solving Linear Matrix Inequalities to detect the feasible region. When the system state enters the infeasible region, the dual-mode control strategy is adopted. In this way, the proposed robust event-triggered MPC has the ability to deal with the multiconstraint system with the time-invariant state or output constraints. Furthermore, the theoretical analysis of the stability and recursive feasibility is proposed. The simulation results demonstrate that the new robust event-triggered MPC with state feedback not only has satisfying control performance but also significantly reduces the computational burden for aero-engine FADEC system.
