含安装误差斜齿轮接触应力混合分析法

摘要

As helical gear comes into meshing and disengaging, the assembly error of helical gear often leads to edge contact, rendering the contact plane an incomplete contact ellipse. Thus, distribution of the contact stress doesn't match the Hertz model, making it difficult to solve contact stress precisely. In order to overcome the above-mentioned difficulty, a new hybrid method, combining Hertz theory and the Winkler model, is proposed, to study the helical gear's contact stress. The helical gear with parallel axis assembly error is used to conduct the process how to calculate contact stress theoretically and based on the proposed method the change rule of helical gear's maximum contact stress at different meshing position is analyzed over the meshing period, then compared with the results by ANSYS software. It shows that based on the two methods, their contact stress curves are close to each other and the maximum relative error of contact stress between proposed and ANSYS software is 6.78%. When edge contact occurred, the contact stress increased significantly, and the curve of contact stress was depressed in the middle. Furthermore, compared with ANSYS, the hybrid method considerably reduced the total time consumption of computation.
