Abstract

This article introduces a new concept of SEAD systems - wide area search munition delivered to the zone of enemy air defense by the expendable intermediate carriers. It is assumed that the expendable intermediate carriers will replace conventional aviation in SEAD missions or at least reduce the risk for conventional aircrafts. Wide area search munition agents (mini-UAVs), delivered by expendable carriers, will extend SEAD actions to the territory controlled by the enemy IADS. The proximity of the enemy radars will increase the effectiveness of the SEAD efforts and allow countering the LPI radars.
