Abstract

Two simple and convenient methods for fast achieving an extended and collimated laser beam and determining its collimation were proposed. They are parallel plate method based on film interference principle and Moire fringe method based on Talbot effect. The measuring formulas of the divergent or convergent angle of collimated laser beam as the collimation in two methods were given, and the measuring sensitivity was discussed.
