Abstract
We report on a tunable oscillation behavior of discrete solitons triggered by coherent soliton interactions in optically induced photonic lattices. Such oscillation originates from the interplay between the soliton transverse motion caused by soliton interaction and the Bragg reflection of the lattice structures. We show that such oscillations can be controlled either by the lattice beam intensity or the amplitude of the external bias field. Selective triggers of the oscillation for the desirable soliton are also obtained by tuning the input soliton power and/or the soliton phase differences.
