Towards a process cooperation oriented mobilized collaborative manufacturing execution platform for complex products

Abstract

Mobilized collaborative manufacturing, which connects and covers the functions of manufacturing execution system (MES) inside enterprise and collaborative manufacturing system across enterprises. With the requirements to support mobilized collaborative manufacturing for complex products, this paper presented a process cooperation oriented mobilized collaborative manufacturing platform, which will help enterprises establish optimum production schedule and production reservation with due date constraints, construct virtual enterprise, and use internal and external resources to complete manufacturing activities with the coordination of multi agent system and workflow system. A prototype system was constructed and proved with a real production case study.
