Abstract

A high response miniature pressure transducer was used for pressure measurement on the rotating blade suction surface of an axial compressor at 50% span, 25% axial chord, and the experimental data were compared with the CFD(computational fluid dynamics) numerically simulated results. During experiment, the data acquisition system was fixed on the rotor shaft, enabling to directly sample, amplify and store the pressure signals. The results show that the experimental data are credible, and the blade surface pressures of experimental data are in good agreement with simulation results. It can successfully acquired the unsteady pressure fluctuation of rotating blade surface. The period of pressure fluctuation is almost the same with the cycle time of compressor revolving.
