Abstract

A magnetic-separated catalyst of chitosan-palladium complex (Fe 3O4-CS-Pd) based on chitosan coated Fe3O 4 microspheres was prepared by the "bottom-up" approach. The catalytic behavior of the catalyst in the cross coupling reaction of acrylic acid (AA) with iodobenzene (ArI) was investigated. Compared with the traditional homogeneous palladium catalysts, the catalyst was easily separated and reused.
