Abstract

A new synthetic method of 2,6-diamino-3,5-dinitropyrazine-1-oxide (LLM-105) was discribed. LLM-105 was synthesized using 2,6-dichloropyrazine and sodium methylate as the starting materials in four steps including alkoxylation, nitration, amination and N-oxidation with total yield of 50%. The structures of intermediates and LLM-105 were determined by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, MS spectra and elemental analysis.
