Abstract
The Ir(acac)3 complex was prepared by the reaction of H2IrCl6 and 2, 4-pentanedione, and purified by recrystallization from benzene-hexane system. The content of carbon and hydrogen in the complex was determined by elemental analysis. The results of infrared spectroscopy showed that the peak at 1549 and 1523 cm-1 represented the vibrational modes and stretching modes of the C-O and C-C bonds in the hexahydric ring structure. The results of 1H-NMR spectroscopy showed that the position and quantity of hydrogen chemical shift were consistent with structural formula of Ir(acac)3 complex. And a possible thermal decomposition mechanism was studied by mass spectroscopic analysis method.
