Abstract

The pressure hull is an important part of underwater vehicle, considering the correlation between the structure Strength failure and stability failure, the randomness of the structure parameters, based on the reliability theory, the analysis of performance of the pressure hull structure with multi-coupling failure modes are carried out. In the research process, firstly, based on the second-order response surface method, the mechanical model of the pressure hull structure was simplified and analyzed. Secondly, considered the randomness of the structural parameters, and combined with random perturbation method, second-order moment method and Ditlevsen narrow bound method, the reliability analysis model of the pressure hull structure multi-failure modes of the underwater vehicle was established. Eventually, based on the structure parameter sensitivity analysis, the influence of structural parameters on the performance of pressure shell structure was obtained. Through this study, the designers can clearly understand the influence degree of geometry parameters for pressure hull performance, which can provide reference for the structural design of cylindrical pressure hull.
