Study on RBCC motor performance analysis method

Abstract

Based on boundary layer effect correction technique for fore-body, the model equation for chamber performance analysis was solved by using finite reaction rate model and MacCormack scheme with central difference form. A more perfect model for RBCC motor performance analysis was established by means of flexible motor property calculation method, and application of the software was investigated. The model was checked by using 2D CFD calculation and test results, and the relative error is less than 10%. The results show that the software is applicable to RBCC motor performance analysis.
