Abstract

Loading amounts of water phase in several microemulsion systems were measured. Igepalco-520 / cyclohexane or PE / H2O system was found with high loading amount of iron chloride solution. The size and morphology of particles prepared via microemulsion were determined by the concentration, solution amount and the ratio of surfactant / oil phase. The nanometer size particles with diameter less than 10 nm could be produced using high surfactant / oil phase ratio. But the crystallizability of iron oxide prepared via microemulsion was poor.
