Abstract

Aiming at the problem of low cross-polarization for the conventional waveguide slotted antennas, a single slotted ridge waveguide antenna is introduced in this paper which radiating element is a pair of inclined slot in the arms of single ridged waveguide. Mutual coupling between the slots, which effects on incremental conductance, is analyzed. The slots pair may reduce the cross-polarization of the antenna array. A 19-element standing antenna wave array is designed. The result shows that it has good low cross polarization and good radiating performance.
