Abstract
The self-corrosion and hygroscopic swelling behavios of a graphite epoxy composite material (GECM) were studied. The hygroscopic capacity of GECM at 70 °C was much higher than that at room temperature, which was related to its surface condition. If a film of glasscloth was co-solidified on the GECM surface, the hygroscopic capacity was more remarkable.
