N2 - Nowadays, people are facing from issues of security, not only about their own but also worried about their things. To solve this issue, our system proposes an effective and low-cost solution for intruder's detection. A Diverse range of technologies like sonar, radar, Doppler, unattended ground sensors (UGS) and some wireless devices are available to solve this issue but cost and implementation complexity make them unfeasible. This paper propose an innovative solution based on Wi-Fi to detect the presence of intruders with the help of electromagnetic perturbation caused by changing in Wi-Fi received signal strength(RSS) which is trigged due to the motion between transmitter and receiver. The study also focuses on Intruder person body weight. Intruder person weight and its motion pattern were approximated by establishing a controlled environment. The proposed solution has high feasibility and is reliable and inexpensive.
