Abstract

Supramolecular polymer, the aggregates of repeated monomers bonded by supramolecular weak interactions, is one of the new organizing forms of soft matters. This article mainly reviewed the research and application of main chain optoelectronic supramolecular polymers(OSP) on the basis of various reported supramolecular polymers, especially in solar cells, organic electroluminescene diodes, and electrochromic displays, etc. Properties of white luminescence, photo-electric conversion, and electrochromism can be realized by adjusting the energy transfer, charge transfer, and charge mobility properties of OSP. It has become a hot topic in the intercrossing fields of supramolecular chemistry and organic electronics. Finally, a perspective for future trend of OSP is proposed.
