Abstract
The residual stress distribution of pure titanium ring pipe were studied by XRD. The microscopic structure and the tensile fracture surface of annealed samples were investigated by using OM and SEM. The result shows that the deformation of ring pipe during hot pushing is not uniform and leads to residual stress; however the residual stress can be effective reduced by recrystallization annealing at 700°C~750°C, which can produce a small equiaxed structure and increase the tensile ductility.
