Abstract
Like Refs. 3 and 4 we study the optimal position of mixed tuned mass damper on tall building to be controlled. Unlike them, our method is different. Our method regards the problem of finding optimal position of mixed tuned mass damper on tall building to be controlled as a problem of 0-1 programming and we solve the 0-1 programming problem by hidden enumerative method. Finally an illustrative numerical example indicates that our method is feasible and effective.
