Abstract

The compression and tension tests of LC9 aluminum alloy were carried out at the temperature from 77 K to 573 K using SHPB, SHTB and CCSS88010 universal testing machine with the strain rate from 0.0011 s-1 to 13000 s-1. The stress-strain relationship was obtained. The research on its mechanical properties shows that the flow stress is not sensitive to the strain rate at room temperature; but sensitive to temperature. Finally, all the parameters of the model based on Johnson-Cook model were determined by curve-fitting. The prediction results based on the corresponding model agree fairly with the experimental data.
