Abstract

An interception strategy is presented for intercepting ballistic missile bullet, which realized penetration by maneuvering trajectory. The interception strategy, which is different from traditional interception strategy, works by making the initial velocity vector of every kinetic energy interceptor (KEI) of multiple kill vehicle (MKV) offset an angle with each other, which ensures every KEI of MKV to aim at one interception point. So several interception points are preset. Compared with interception strategy which has only one presetting interception point, this interception strategy could decrease the influence resulting from a maneuver of bullet maked to the hit probability of MKV. A 6DOF MKV model is made for digital simulation. The result of digital simulation shows that the new interception strategy is effective.
