Research on Cooperative Control of UAV Cluster Based on Digital Twin Technology

Abstract

With the development of UAV technology today, it is more and more unsatisfied with single machine to perform tasks, and cluster cooperation has become the main technical trend at this stage. However, in the known cluster control technologies at present, there are problems such as low formation flexibility and weak environmental response ability. In addition, at present, various cluster control systems lack effective models to grasp the flight dynamics of the cluster, so it is impossible for the cluster to adjust its flight parameters in a changing environment, which restricts the safety and stability of the whole system. In this paper, a cooperative control technology of UAV cluster based on digital twin technology is proposed, which adopts distributed cluster control and completes the task through communication between subsystems. At the same time, it models the cluster through historical experimental data, then simulates the flight state of the UAV cluster in the current environment through this model, and finally makes the cluster reach the optimal posture in the current environment by adjusting relevant parameters.
