Abstract

In order to simulation the trajectory of hypersonic suborbital flight vehicles accurately, the newest atmospheric model-NRLMISISE00 atmospheric model, the latest wind model-HWM93 were introduced, and the differences among diverse models were compared; based on the Vinh's point-mass equation of movement, a new equation used for the sub-orbital reentry flight vehicle in the atmosphere environment was set up; at last, a simulation used the US X-33 flight vehicle was done, and the effects of each atmospheric parameter was analyzed. The study shows that, the influences of atmospheric environment to reentry vehicles could not be ignored, and which model should be used based your practical problems.
