Abstract
Skull identification is researched as a peculiar biometrics today for its intrinsic latent physiology position and relative stability. A fast and robust multi-resolution analysis which implemented after perprocessing and Radon transform is presented for human identification with ante mortem skull radiograph. The approach is insensitive for rotation feature extracted by Radon transform which denoted the inner structure and x-ray radiation attenuation. This recognition algorithm can also support postmortem skull identification in forensic case.
