Production of polar zinc electrode by composition method and analysis of physicochemistry property

Abstract

New type polar zinc electrode was fabricated with composition method. The scanning photos show that it is 3-D framework and ideal netted structure. Through experiments, the porosity of the electrode was measured. The pore structure was described and quantitatively analysed by porosity. The capacity of the polar zinc electrode and the polarization curves were measured, investigated and compared with the general polar zinc electrode in battery. The results show that the porosity is higher than 80% and almost every pore is open.
