Abstract
A series of supported nano-gold catalysis were prepared through sol-gel method and their catalytic activities for selective hydrogenation of maleic anhydride were investigated. The effects of reaction temperature, reaction solvent, preparation conditions of the catalyst and catalyst reuse were also studied. The results showed that catalyst Au/SiO2-O(C) exhibited the highest catalytic performance to yield succinic anhydride or diethyl succinate with a selectivity exceed 99.5%.
