Abstract

The electrophoretic fluid containing span80, oil red and TiO2 coated with PMMA particles were homodispersed in tetrachloroethylene (TCE). Gelatin-Arabic gum microcapsules containing the suspension as the core material were prepared by the complex coacervation. The influence of the concentration of Span80 was also studied. Electronic ink display prototype was prepared by coating electrophoretic ink microcapsules on ITO substrate.
