Abstract

Distributed operations have become a promising concept in the future of information and intelligent warfare. Conventional single multi-functional jammer has limited coverage due to the beamwidth. In order to further improve the jamming performance, this paper analyzed the UAV-based distributive jamming model, and simulated the radar detection performance under single line formation and arch formation. The jamming effect is evaluated with an effective assessment indicator. Experimental results show the superiority of the arch formation, manifesting more jamming power can enter from the main lobe of the receiver antenna, in which detection gaps are effectively eliminated.
