Abstract

In order to study the relevant performance matching between the main fuel pump and aero-engine fuel system, this paper proposes a modeling study of the aviation fuel gear pump based on the hydraulic simulation platform AMESim to meet the need of overall simulation research of the current aero-engine fuel system. First of all, for the working principle and structural characteristics of the fuel gear pump, a mathematical principle model of the fuel gear pump is established. Then, based on the modeling mechanism of AMESim simulation platform, its simulation model is built for different requirements. Finally, according to a certain type of aviation fuel pump, the external characteristics were compared and analyzed. The results show that the fuel pump model is more in line with the actual fuel pump characteristics, and can meet the overall research work of the relevant fuel conditioning system.
