Abstract

This paper is concerned with orbital and attitude cooperative control problems of small satellite in formation flying operation. At first, positional and attitude error dynamics model of small satellite relative to a target satellite is derived. Then, considering the uncertain inertia matrix and mass of small satellite, we design an adaptive output feedback control law and its stability is proved. Finally, numerical simulation validate the performance of the proposed output feedback control strategy.
